EFFECT OF CATHA EDULIS (KHAT) EXTRACT ON COLOR STABILITY OF ACRYLIC RESIN DENTURE TEETH: AN IN-VITRO STUDY

Background and aim: Long-term denture tooth color stability for patients is an important criterion in choosing the types of dental materials to use as one main concerns treatment. Discoloration teeth may result patient dissatisfaction additional expense their replacement. In Yemen, khat (Catha Edulis) chewing habit affect acrylic teeth. The aim this study was assess effect extract on reinforced resin Materials Methods: Experimental design carried 3 brands from three manufacturers, Vitapan, FX-Anterior Shanghai-SND were evaluated 40 specimens (maxillary central incisors) each brand selected systematically grouped into A, B C respectively.
